A Little About Us

Iridium Studios is an independent studio dedicated to innovative advances in the gaming industry. Iridium is focused, first and foremost, on creativity: the promotion of new and exciting ideas.

Founded in 2009 by Jason Wishnov, Iridium now employs a small group dedicated to developing new titles for various platforms. Iridium's titles, There Came an Echo and Before the Echo (previously Sequence), are available on Steam here and here.

Our Team

Jason Wishnov
Jason is a writer and game designer living in sunny Los Angeles, California. He graduated from the University of Florida with dual degrees in both Electrical and Computer Engineering. He is also eminently charming, and thinks that big sunglasses look silly.

Noe Leyva
Noe is the lead illustrator and concept artist for There Came an Echo. He is de Mexico, which we are told means "alluring and handsome". He studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

Michael Smith
Michael is the lead model rigger and animator for There Came an Echo. In between making silly motions at his desk ("for reference", he says), Mike likes to watch (and then emulate) funny cat videos on the internet.

Juan Gil
Juan is the lead character modeler and texture artist for our company, and he thinks two dimensions are *way too few*. He enjoys cookies, but not the internet kind, those are kind of hard to keep track of.

Jimmy Hinson
Jimmy is a BAFTA-nominated veteran composer in the video game industry, having worked on such projects as Mass Effect 2 and Call of Duty: Black Ops 2. He lives in Dallas, TX, where he plays a little too much frisbee golf.

Ronald Jenkees
Ronald rose to fame over in the YouTube scene, where his hypnotic beats and incredible skill with a keyboard won him a devoted fan following. His three albums are the stuff of legends, and as his work continually evolves and improves, Iridium finds new and creative ways to utilize his talent. His hats are numerous and excellent.
